About Us

This journey started in 2011.

We started by building a technology to protect my wife when she walked from her office to her car. Something simple that she didn't need a lot of training for; and would give her a chance to get away immediately if she was ever attacked or approached to where she felt at risk.

That technology was amazing and worked perfectly!

Then some friends in the U.S. Special Operations community asked if we could incorporate some of this technology into another system that they needed. That took us into an entirely unexpected realm that was a privilege and honor to do - because we had a chance to help amazing people who do terrifying things to protect us!

While in a meeting for that project, it occurred to us that we should figure out a way to squeeze this technology into something police officers could use, in order to give them options they didn't currently have - especially when dealing with irate or combative individuals.  We just couldn't sit by and watch these stellar individuals not have the tools they needed to do a job that was getting harder every single day.

From that epiphany, it took the next three years to create this amazing device - the DSKL8R.

Originally designed for Law Enforcement, this non-lethal advanced light and sound technology has applications for Military, Security Personnel, Outfitters and Outdoor Enthusiasts, Civilians; anyone who is looking for an additional level of easy-to-use personal protection that is uniquely effective.  We are proud to provide it to you.
